Structured Exception error during NI Elvis software installation

Hello,
during the installation of the NI ELVIS software in a DELL Latitude laptop with Windows XP Professional SP2 we have received the following error:

Structured Exception number 0x0000005
Exception code: C0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION)
Fault address: 294802 104E610:0000000E

Do you know what the problem is and how can we solve this?

can u specify which version of elvis are you using?

has your computer installed Lv? yes/no? which version?
